Union Grove Broncos (Union Grove, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Elkhorn Elks (Elkhorn, WI), 63-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Union Grove upgrades its record to 5-14 on the season. The Broncos host Badger (Lake Geneva, WI) to clash with the Badgers in a Southern Lakes bout on Thursday, February 8. The Badgers go into the bout with a record of 7-12.

Next up, the Elks clash with the Big Foot Chiefs (Walworth, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Elkhorn will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record.
