The Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy Eagle basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Maxwell Bears to 63 in the Eagle non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagle now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coronado for a A District 7 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy will battle a Leopards team coming off a 40-37 league loss to Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM). The Leopards record now stands at 5-10.
The Bears (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Des Moines (Des Moines, NM). The Demons come into the A District 5 contest with a 16-3 record. In their last contest, Des Moines edged Cimarron (Cimarron, NM), 70-59, in a league contest.
