The Evergreen Park Mustangs tipped the host Hillcrest Hawks basketball team by a final score of 58-57 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL) in a non-league game, on Sunday, February 4. Evergreen Park will attempt to move on its 18-8 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 16-9 record after their 44-42 league loss to Lake Park (Roselle, IL).

With the defeat, Hillcrest moves to 14-11 on the year. The Hawks travel to Richards (Oak Lawn, IL) to face the Bulldogs in a South Suburban game on Tuesday, February 6. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 10-15. Richards lost 56-50 in their recent league game against Bremen (Midlothian, IL)
