Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Triad Cardinals (North Lewisburg, OH) and the visiting Fairbanks Panthers (Milford Center, OH), saw Triad's basketball squad hold off Fairbanks by a tally of 50-49.

With the victory, Triad improves its record to 4-13 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Greeneview (Jamestown, OH) to confront the Rams in a Ohio Heritage challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Greeneview won 68-47 in their recent league challenge against Catholic Central (Springfield, OH)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Madison Plains Golden Eagles (London, OH) in a Ohio Heritage challenge, on Monday, February 5. Fairbanks will attempt to improve on its 16-4 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 56-29 non-league win over Jefferson Township (Dayton, OH).
