Farmington Cardinals (Farmington, AR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gentry Pioneers (Gentry, AR), 89-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Farmington upgrades its record to 26-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Shiloh Christian (Springdale, AR) to play the Saints in a 4A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 11-11. Shiloh Christian won 57-50 in their recent league bout against Huntsville (Huntsville, AR)

Next up, the Pioneers play the Prairie Grove Tigers (Prairie Grove, AR) in a 4A Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Gentry will attempt to upgrade on its 5-17 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 9-16 record after their 40-39 league loss to Gravette (Gravette, AR).
