The Meridian Mustangs basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Farwell Eagles to 24 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hemlock for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Meridian will meet a Huskies team coming off a 59-50 league loss to Millington (Millington, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 10-7.

The Eagles (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Ogemaw Heights was routed by Garber (Essexville, MI), 69-37, in a non-league contest.
