Arkansas High School Basketball - Pocahontas overwhelmed by Forrest City

The Forrest City Mustangs basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the host Pocahontas Redskins to 40 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trumann for a 4A Region 3 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Forrest City will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 61-58 league loss to Blytheville (Blytheville, AR). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-14.
The Redskins (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against Brookland (Brookland, AR). The Bearcats come into the 4A Region 3 contest with a 20-4 record. In their last contest, Brookland was routed by Forrest City (Forrest City, AR), 67-53, in a league contest.
