Fort Scott Tigers (Fort Scott, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Parsons Vikings (Parsons, KS), 72-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fort Scott upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Chanute (Chanute, KS) to clash with the Blue Comets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Blue Comets go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Chanute won 64-58 in their recent non-league bout against Iola (Iola, KS)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Labette County Grizzlies (Altamont, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Parsons will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 55-52 non-league win over Independence (Independence, KS).
