Fountain Inn Fury (Fountain Inn, SC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC), 76-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fountain Inn upgrades its record to 15-10 on the campaign. The Fury host Southside (Greenville, SC) to play the Tigers in a AAA Region 2 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 10-14. Southside won 60-48 in their recent league bout against Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Powdersville Patriots (Greenville, SC) in a AAA Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Palmetto will attempt to upgrade on its 4-20 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 19-6 record after their 65-64 league loss to Wren (Piedmont, SC).
