Franklin Panthers (Franklin, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host King Philip Regional Warriors (Wrentham, MA), 72-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Franklin upgrades its record to 15-1 on the season. The Panthers host Taunton (Taunton, MA) to play the Tigers in a Hockomock bout on Monday, February 5. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 10-4.

Next up, the Warriors play the Attleboro Bombardiers (Attleboro, MA) in a Hockomock bout, on Monday, February 5. King Philip Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Bombardiers go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 65-49 league win over Milford (Milford, MA).
