North Union Warriors (Armstrong, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals (Garner, IA), 67-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Union upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season. The Warriors host Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 19-1. Lake Mills won 86-46 in their recent league bout against Forest City (Forest City, IA)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Forest City Indians (Forest City, IA) in a North Iowa bout, on Monday, February 5. Garner-Hayfield/Ventura will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 86-46 league loss to Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA).
