In Friday's league outing, the Hammond Golden Bears (Columbia, MD) basketball squad beat the host Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD), by a count of 55-45.
The Golden Bears (5-10) will now prepare for their outing against Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD). The Scorpions go into the Howard County outing with a 2-13 record. In their last outing, Oakland Mills was topped by Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD), 85-38, in a league outing.
The Gladiators now hold a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Marriotts Ridge for a Howard County outing on Monday, February 5. Glenelg will clash with a squad coming off a 59-58 league loss to Reservoir (Fulton, MD). The record now stands at 9-9.
