The Gold-Burg Bears (Bowie, TX) basketball felled the visiting Prairie Valley Bulldogs (Nocona, TX), 50-39 in Friday's league test.
The Bears (9-20) will now prepare for their test against Bellevue (Bellevue, TX). The Eagles go into the 1A Region III District 22 test with a 4-15 record.
The Bulldogs now own a 6-21 record. They play next when they host Saint Jo for a 1A Region III District 22 test on Tuesday, February 6. Prairie Valley will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 53-43 league loss to Forestburg (Forestburg, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 6-23.
