California High School Basketball - Gonzales can't hold off Greenfield

The Greenfield Bruins basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Gonzales Spartans to 66 in the Bruins league triumph on Friday.
The Bruins now sport a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pajaro Valley for a PCAL - Cypress contest on Tuesday, February 6. Greenfield will battle a Grizzlies team coming off a 59-55 league loss to Soledad (Soledad, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 3-18.
The Spartans (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against North Salinas (Salinas, CA). The Vikings enter the PCAL - Cypress contest with a 8-13 record. In their last match, North Salinas tipped Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA), 63-61, in a league match.
