Grace Christian Crusaders (Sanford, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mount Zion Christian Academy Mighty Warriors (Durham, NC), 67-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Grace Christian upgrades its record to 17-11 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 11-8.

Next up, the Mighty Warriors clash with the Wayne Preparatory Academy Generals (Goldsboro, NC) in a CAASC Triangle bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Mount Zion Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-15 season record.
