The Grove City Eagles basketball team (Grove City, PA), dropped 54-45 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA)

The Hornets now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenville for a District 10 Region 4 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Hickory will battle a Trojans team coming off a 65-24 league win over Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 8-9.

The Eagles (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Sharon (Sharon, PA). The Tigers come into the District 10 Region 4 battle with a 15-3 record. In their last battle, Sharon prevailed over Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA), 62-59, in a league battle.
