With the victory, North Fork upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Miners host Plateau Valley (Collbran, CO) to play the Cowboys in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a record of 14-1. Plateau Valley won 57-14 in their recent league challenge against West Grand (Kremmling, CO)

Next up, the Cowboys play the Grand Valley Cardinals (Parachute, CO) in a 3A Western Slope challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Gunnison will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 67-36 non-league loss to Aspen (Aspen, CO).
