The Stockbridge Tigers basketball team (Stockbridge, GA), was nudged 48-47 in Friday's league battle with the host Hampton Hornets (Hampton, GA)

The Hornets now possess a 5-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodland for a AAAA Region 5 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Hampton will confront a Wolfpack team coming off a 73-65 league win over Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 13-10.

The Tigers (3-21) will now prepare for their battle against Lovett (Atlanta, GA). The Lions come into the AAAA Region 5 battle with a 12-10 record. In their last battle, Lovett was nudged by Pace Academy (Atlanta, GA), 68-43, in a league battle.
