Texas High School Basketball - Harleton tipped by Ore City

The Ore City Rebels basketball team scored 30 points and held the host Harleton Wildcats to 23 in the Rebels league triumph on Friday.

The Rebels now sport a 8-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Linden-Kildare for a 2A Region III District 21 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Ore City will meet a Tigers team coming off a 69-5 league loss to Hawkins (Hawkins, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-14.

The Wildcats (7-18) will now prepare for their contest against Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX). The Wildcats enter the 2A Region III District 21 contest with a 11-14 record. In their last contest, Big Sandy was nudged by McLeod (McLeod, TX), 51-47, in a league contest.
