Harwood Highlanders (Moretown, VT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting U-32 Raiders (Montpelier, VT), 61-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Harwood upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Spaulding (Barre, VT) to play the Crimson Tide in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Crimson Tide come into the bout with a record of 2-13. Spaulding won 70-66 in their recent non-league bout against Randolph (Randolph, VT)

Next up, the Raiders play the Peoples Academy Wolves (Morrisville, VT) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. U-32 will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 74-27 non-league loss to North Country Union (Newport, VT).
