The New England Tigers basketball team (New England, ND), was overwhelmed 87-65 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Hazen Bison (Hazen, ND)
The Bison now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stanley for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 3. Hazen will battle a Blue Jays team coming off a 70-38 league win over Nedrose (Minot, ND). The Blue Jays record now stands at 10-5.
The Tigers (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Hettinger/Scranton (Hettinger, ND). The Black Devils come into the B District 5 battle with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, Hettinger/Scranton was overwhelmed by Garrison (Garrison, ND), 62-51, in a non-league battle.
