North Carolina High School Basketball - University Christian trounced by Hickory Christian Academy

February 2, 2024: Hickory, NC 28601

In Friday's league match, the host Hickory Christian Academy Knights basketball team scored a decisive 70-27 triumph over the University Christian Barracudas.

In their next game, the Knights face the Asheville School (Independent) Blues (Asheville, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 9. Hickory Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 13-9 season record.

With the defeat, University Christian moves to 2-11 on the year. The Barracudas travel to Davidson Day (Davidson, NC) to face the Patriots in a NCISAA Foothills match on Monday, February 5. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 17-7. Davidson Day lost 65-53 in their recent non-league match against Combine Academy National (Lincolnton, NC)
