Texas High School Basketball - Nimitz ripped by Highland Park

The Highland Park Scots basketball team scored 87 points and held the visiting Nimitz Vikings to 45 in the Scots league triumph on Friday.
The Scots now sport a 22-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to MacArthur for a 6A Region I District 7 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Highland Park will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 32-31 league loss to Irving (Irving, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-22.
The Vikings (1-19) will now prepare for their contest against Dallas Jesuit (Dallas, TX). The Rangers enter the 6A Region I District 7 contest with a 21-7 record. In their last contest, Dallas Jesuit triumphed over Berkner (Richardson, TX), 64-51, in a league contest.
