The May River Sharks basketball team (Bluffton, SC), dropped 40-32 in Friday's league battle with the host Hilton Head Island Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC)
The Seahawks now possess a 6-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lucy Beckham for a AAAA Region 7 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Hilton Head Island will battle a Bengals team coming off a 52-49 league loss to James Island (Charleston, SC). The Bengals record now stands at 14-10.
The Sharks (10-7) will now prepare for their battle against Colleton County (Walterboro, SC). The Cougars come into the AAAA Region 7 battle with a 15-8 record. In their last battle, Colleton County dropped by James Island (Charleston, SC), 57-55, in a league battle.
