Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Holt Rams (Holt, MI), 86-74 in a league bout.

With the victory, Waverly upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Lansing Catholic (Lansing, MI) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 5-11. Lansing Catholic won 56-52 in their recent league bout against Charlotte (Charlotte, MI)

Next up, the Rams play the Grand Ledge Comets (Grand Ledge, MI) in a Capital Area - Blue bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Holt will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record.
