The Rosepine Eagles (Rosepine, LA) basketball crushed the host Holy Savior Menard Eagles (Alexandria, LA), 70-40 in Friday's league test.
The Eagles (14-11) will now prepare for their test against Avoyelles (Moreauville, LA). The Mustangs go into the 2A District 4 test with a 12-10 record. In their last test, Avoyelles walloped Glenmora (Glenmora, LA), 52-44, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 3-16 record. They play next when they travel to Oakdale for a 2A District 4 test on Tuesday, February 6. Holy Savior Menard will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 82-68 league win over Pickering (Leesville, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-7.
