The St. John the Baptist Cougars basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Holy Trinity Titans to 60 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Anthony's for a Catholic Nassau Suffolk contest on Tuesday, February 6. St. John the Baptist will battle a Friars team coming off a 63-45 non-league loss to Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY). The Friars record now stands at 11-6.

The Titans (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Monsignor Farrell (Staten Island, NY). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Monsignor Farrell was nudged by St. Joseph-by-the-Sea (Staten Island, NY), 49-28, in a league contest.
