The Jeff Davis Yellowjackets (Hazlehurst, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Worth County Rams (Sylvester, GA), 66-55 in Friday's league test.
The Yellowjackets (6-16) will now prepare for their test against Cook (Adel, GA). The Hornets go into the AA Region 1 test with a 10-12 record. In their last test, Cook went down by Worth County (Sylvester, GA), 70-43, in a league test.
The Rams now own a 13-7 record. They play next when they host Cook for a AA Region 1 test on Saturday, February 3. Worth County will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 55-51 league loss to Dodge County (Eastman, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 10-11.
