Sheridan Generals (Thornville, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting John Glenn Little Muskies (New Concord, OH), 53-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Sheridan upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Generals host Maysville (Zanesville, OH) to play the Panthers in a Muskingum Valley bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 14-3. Maysville won 71-29 in their recent league bout against River View (Warsaw, OH)

Next up, the Little Muskies play the Meadowbrook Colts (Byesville, OH) in a Muskingum Valley bout, on Tuesday, February 6. John Glenn will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 1-15 record after their 60-55 league loss to Morgan (McConnelsville, OH).
