The West Oso Bears topped the visiting Jones Trojans basketball team by a final score of 51-43 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Bears face the Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 30 game, on Tuesday, February 6. West Oso will attempt to move on its 16-12 season record. The Sandcrabs enter the game with a 1-22 record after their 70-43 league loss to Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX).
