The Stonington Bears basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Killingly Redmen to 52 in the Bears league triumph on Friday.
The Bears now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plainfield for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Stonington will meet a Panthers team coming off a 70-50 league loss to Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 6-8.
The Redmen (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Lyman Memorial nudged Plainfield (Central Village, CT), 70-50, in a league contest.
