Texas High School Basketball - Kingdom Prep Academy can't hold off Southcrest Christian

The Southcrest Christian basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Kingdom Prep Academy Warriors to 50 in the league victory on Friday.

The now sport a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host All Saints Episcopal School for a TAPPS 2A District 1 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Southcrest Christian will battle a Patriots team coming off a 78-37 league win over Christ the King Cathedral (Lubbock, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 24-4.

The Warriors (7-20) will now prepare for their contest against Abilene Christian (Abilene, TX). The Panthers come into the TAPPS 2A District 1 contest with a 18-20 record. In their last contest, Abilene Christian edged Southcrest Christian (Lubbock, TX), 68-59, in a league contest.
