Georgia High School Basketball - Starr's Mill edges LaGrange

The Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA) basketball nipped the host LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA), 52-45 in Friday's league test.
The Panthers (13-10) will now prepare for their test against North Clayton (College Park, GA). The Eagles go into the AAAA Region 4 test with a 6-17 record. In their last test, North Clayton got by Towers (Decatur, GA), 70-67, in a non-league test.
The Grangers now own a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to Troup County for a AAAA Region 4 test on Saturday, February 3. LaGrange will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 83-81 league loss to Riverdale (Riverdale, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-13.
