North Carolina High School Basketball - Mountain Island Charter trounces Langtree Charter

February 2, 2024: Mt. Holly, NC 28120

The Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Langtree Charter Lions (Mooresville, NC), 85-46 in Friday's league test.

The Raptor (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinals go into the 1A/2A Catawba Shores test with a 16-3 record. In their last test, Corvian Community walloped Christ the King (Huntersville, NC), 69-52, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 1-22 record. They play next when they host Pine Lake Prep for a 1A/2A Catawba Shores test on Tuesday, February 6. Langtree Charter will encounter a Pride squad coming off a 78-74 league win over Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC). The Pride record now stands at 14-6.
