Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats (Manning, SC) and the visiting Trinity Collegiate Titans (Darlington, SC), saw Laurence Manning Academy's basketball squad hold off Trinity Collegiate by a count of 65-62.

With the victory, Laurence Manning Academy upgrades its record to 16-7 on the campaign. The Swampcats travel to Wilson Hall (Sumter, SC) to play the Barons in a SCISA AAAA Region II challenge on Friday, February 9. The Barons come into the challenge with a record of 20-7. Wilson Hall won 63-42 in their recent league challenge against Camden Military (Camden, SC)

Next up, the Titans play the Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders (Columbia, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Trinity Collegiate will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Highlanders come into the test with a 7-14 record after their 59-57 non-league win over Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC).
