The Rocksprings Angoras routed the visiting Leakey Eagles basketball team by a final score of 79-53 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Angoras face the Medina Bobcats (Medina, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 31 game, on Tuesday, February 6. Rocksprings will attempt to move on its 22-4 season record. The Bobcats come into the battle with a 5-7 record after their 72-46 league win over Leakey (Leakey, TX).
The Eagles (2-22) will now prepare for their battle against D'Hanis (D'Hanis, TX). The Cowboys come into the 1A Region IV District 31 battle with a 15-10 record. In their last battle, D'Hanis trounced Knippa (Knippa, TX), 33-29, in a league battle.
