McBee Panthers (McBee, SC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Lewisville Lions (Richburg, SC), 64-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, McBee upgrades its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host C.A. Johnson (Columbia, SC) to play the Hornets in a A Region 3 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 12-11. C.A. Johnson won 73-37 in their recent league bout against Governor's School for Science & Math (Hartsville, SC)

Next up, the Lions play the Great Falls Red Devils (Great Falls, SC) in a A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Lewisville will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Red Devils come into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 90-30 league win over Riverwalk Academy (Rock Hill, SC).
