New London-Spicer Wildcats (New London, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Litchfield Dragons (Litchfield, MN), 62-47 in a league bout.

With the win, New London-Spicer upgrades its record to 9-10 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Glencoe-Silver Lake won 78-72 in their recent non-league bout against Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN)

Next up, the Dragons clash with the Rockford Rockets (Rockford, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Litchfield will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 8-13 record after their 61-60 non-league loss to Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted (Howard Lake, MN).
