Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Woodgrove Wolverines (Purcellville, VA) and the host Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA), saw Woodgrove's basketball squad knock off Loudoun Valley by a tally of 51-41.

With the victory, Woodgrove improves its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Park View (Sterling, VA) to play the Patriots in a Catoctin challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 8-12.

Next up, the Vikings play the Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Loudoun Valley will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 68-58 non-league win over Dominion (Sterling, VA).
