Luther Prep Phoenix (Watertown, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting University School of Milwaukee Wildcats (Milwaukee, WI), 54-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Luther Prep upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Phoenix travel to St. John's Northwestern Military Academy (Delafield, WI) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 4-12.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Messmer Bishops (Milwaukee, WI) in a Midwest Classic bout, on Wednesday, February 7. University School of Milwaukee will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record.
