The Maple Hill Wildcats (Castleton on Hudson, NY) basketball nipped the visiting Watervliet Cannoneers (Watervliet, NY), 70-64 in Friday's league test.

The Wildcats (13-4) will now prepare for their test against Rensselaer (Rensselaer, NY). The Rams go into the Section 2 Patroon test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Rensselaer got by Germantown (Germantown, NY), 59-49, in a league test.

The Cannoneers now own a 15-2 record. They play next when they host Coxsackie-Athens for a Section 2 Patroon test on Tuesday, February 6.
