Ohio High School Basketball - Vermilion ripped by Margaretta

The Margaretta Polar Bears basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Vermilion Sailors to 31 in the Polar Bears league triumph on Friday.

The Polar Bears now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Old Fort for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Margaretta will battle a Stockaders team coming off a 38-36 league loss to Hopewell-Loudon (Bascom, OH). The Stockaders record now stands at 13-3.

The Sailors (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Perkins (Sandusky, OH). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Perkins was routed by Sandusky (Sandusky, OH), 71-54, in a league contest.
