Wisconsin High School Basketball - Wausau East can't hold off Marshfield

The Marshfield Tigers basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Wausau East Lumberjacks to 63 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eau Claire North for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Marshfield will battle a Huskies team coming off a 86-65 league win over Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI). The Huskies record now stands at 9-9.
The Lumberjacks (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Vel Phillips Memorial (Madison, WI). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Vel Phillips Memorial nudged Madison La Follette (Madison, WI), 74-62, in a league contest.
