Wisconsin High School Basketball - McFarland knocked off by Sauk Prairie

The Sauk Prairie Eagles basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting McFarland Spartans to 70 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Crosse Central for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Sauk Prairie will battle a Riverhawks team coming off a 52-42 league win over Tomah (Tomah, WI). The Riverhawks record now stands at 8-9.

The Spartans (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Baraboo (Baraboo, WI). The Thunderbirds enter the non-league contest with a 15-4 record. In their last contest, Baraboo was defeated by Mount Horeb (Mount Horeb, WI), 61-49, in a league contest.
