The Memphis University School Owls basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles to 41 in the Owls non-league victory on Friday.

The Owls now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian Brothers for a Division II-AA West contest on Tuesday, February 6. Memphis University School will battle a Purple Wave team coming off a 51-44 league loss to Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN). The Purple Wave record now stands at 13-10.

The Eagles (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN). The Saints come into the Division II-AA West contest with a 23-4 record. In their last contest, Briarcrest Christian triumphed over Christian Brothers (Memphis, TN), 51-44, in a league contest.
