Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Tri-Cities Bulldogs (East Point, GA) and the host Midtown Knights (Atlanta, GA), saw Tri-Cities's basketball squad knock off Midtown by a tally of 64-56.

With the victory, Tri-Cities improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Villa Rica (Villa Rica, GA) to play the Wildcats in a AAAAA Region 5 challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 8-14. Villa Rica won 70-55 in their recent league challenge against Creekside (Fairburn, GA)

Next up, the Knights play the Mays Raiders (Atlanta, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Midtown will attempt to improve on its 7-15 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 15-6 record after their 76-64 league win over Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA).
