The Mission San Jose Warriors basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Newark Memorial Cougars to 50 in the Warriors league victory on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to James Logan for a Mission Valley contest on Wednesday, February 7. Mission San Jose will battle a Colts team coming off a 64-50 league win over Kennedy (Fremont, CA). The Colts record now stands at 8-16.
The Cougars (4-20) will now prepare for their contest against Washington (Fremont, CA). The Huskies come into the Mission Valley contest with a 15-9 record. In their last contest, Washington prevailed over Irvington (Fremont, CA), 78-72, in a league contest.
