The Riverside Panthers basketball team (Ellwood City, PA), was routed 67-36 in Friday's league battle with the host Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA)

The Warriors now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Brighton for a WPIAL 3A 1 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Mohawk Area will battle a Lions team coming off a 80-22 league loss to Neshannock (New Castle, PA). The Lions record now stands at 3-15.

The Panthers (8-13) will now prepare for their battle against Freedom Area (Freedom, PA). The Bulldogs come into the WPIAL 3A 1 battle with a 1-18 record. In their last battle, Freedom Area was routed by Beaver Falls (Beaver Falls, PA), 68-35, in a league battle.
