New York High School Basketball - School of the Arts can't hold off Monroe

The Monroe Red Jackets basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host School of the Arts Silverhawks to 51 in the Red Jackets league victory on Friday.
The Red Jackets now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host University Prep Charter for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Monroe will battle a Gator team coming off a 55-50 non-league win over Aquinas Institute (Rochester, NY). The Gator record now stands at 3-5.
The Silverhawks (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Dunkirk (Dunkirk, NY). The Marauders come into the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Dunkirk was nudged by Fredonia (Fredonia, NY), 76-54, in a league contest.
