The Western Reserve Roughriders (Collins, OH) basketball crushed the host Monroeville Eagles (Monroeville, OH), 55-34 in Friday's league test.

The Roughriders (9-5) will now prepare for their test against New London (New London, OH). The Wildcats go into the Firelands test with a 1-15 record. In their last test, New London was trounced by Crestview (Ashland, OH), 72-27, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Mansfield Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3. Monroeville will encounter a Flames squad coming off a 71-35 league win over St. Peter's (Mansfield, OH). The Flames record now stands at 14-3.
